Things to do in the area

There are hiking and biking trails just outside our door. We are happy set-up a game of croquet or bachi ball on our lawn. Relax with a book in our hammock or just ask and we will be happy to get the bonfire going for you. Like fishing and want a sure thing, there is a trout pond across the road from us, no license needed.

To help you plan your get-away and maybe inspire some new ideas we are including a partial list of interesting things to do off premises along with links to what this area has to offer.

Take a leisurely walk through Douthat State Park and dine by the lake, enjoy the local wineries or take in the fall foliage in a balloon ride.

There are many antique and junktique shops in the area along with gift and specialty shops. This is only a partial list of those closest to us.
